I lift Blake up...he says Thank You
I get him a drink...he says Thank You
I change his diaper...he says Thank You
I serve him food...he says Thank You
I get his favorite toys/book...he says Thank You


tonight Josh told Blake...you have cold hands...and guess what Blake said...Thank You

Paint Lipstick

I was doing paint touch ups downstairs today and Blake comes up to give me a big fat paint kiss! I didn't realize he was going behind me kissing all the spots I had just touched up. When I took him in the bathroom to wash up he was looking in the mirror at himself making funny faces with his new lipstick.

The Fish Doctor

Tonight Braden had his cousin Hunter over to play and they saw it! Orangey is dead they yell down the stairs. Orangey is what they call the orange fish is Braden's room. I'm like oh no he's not, he's sleeping. No they yell back at me we shook the tank and he's not moving! UGH! Don't look at Orangey anymore he's sleeping! The boys continue on and play with other things, we have dinner, and I forget about Orangey. When its time to settle down and go clean Braden's room it starts up again. The boys every 2 minutes come downstairs to tell Josh and I updates on Orangey.

• Orangey is dead, he needs to go to the fish Doctor

• Orangey is bleeding
• The sucker fish bit Orangey
• Orangey needs to go to the fish DR
• We think the sucker fish bit Orangey
• Orangey NEEDS to go to the fish Dr

This went on every 2 minutes until I insisted Josh go put Orangey in our room until he could go to the fish DR (which is what we told the boys). Thank goodness they think this dead Orangey is going to the fish DR and will be all better. I made sure they did not follow Josh into our room where Orangey is waiting to go to the DR's and Josh flushed him to fish heaven in the seas. So I guess we'll be making a trip to Petsmart tomorrow to pick up a new Orangey! Gotta love a 3 year olds thought process!

Picture Day

My mother in laws birthday is in 2 days so we went to get pictures done of all the kiddies for her. Six kids 4 and under is quite the task, but I think they turned out great!


I wasn't liking the grey background too well...neither was baby Jaycie either apparently!

Sometimes Mama's

just need a moment!

I just got home from work (mind you I work a 12 hour shift overnight) and I want to change clothes out of my yucky germ infested scrubs and go to the restroom in peace for a second. I never lock my bathroom door, it's always a free for all with Braden talking about something and Blake on the bathroom counter in the medicine cabinet.....well today I locked my bathroom door for a whole 2 minutes. Immediately Blake is pounding at my door, followed by Braden saying "this is just not my responsibility". I ignore the chaos wishing I was in my bed : ) and Braden continues on "this is just not gonna be responsibility watching him I need you to let Blake in". Sometimes Braden just says the funniest things he makes me smile with his weird comments and the amazing vocabulary of a 3 year old all the time!

The Great Outdoors

I love that the weather has been so great to play outside all day from morning till night...
and that's just what these kids do!
We are so blessed to have family live so close to us..the boys love to play with their cousins all day long!
